During our checkups we look for signs of decay, tooth wear, gum disease and even mouth cancer. If we find anything that concerns us we’ll work with you to draw up a treatment plan.

As a patient of Water Orton Dental Centre you have access to a basic NHS checkup or a comprehensive private checkup. Both checkups provide a comprehensive examination to ensure your teeth and gums are healthy and there are no signs of gum disease or mouth cancer.

Does a checkup just cover my teeth?
No. As a responsible practice we will check your gums, jaw, ask you about your health and even check for signs of mouth cancer.
Can I book my child in?
Yes. We’re a family friendly dentist and look after children and adults alike.
What if I’ve not been to the dentist for a while?
That’s not a problem. We regularly see patients who haven’t seen the dentist in many years. We give all our patients a 10 point oral health check to check on the health of your teeth and gums.
What if I’m not registered with you?
We will register you at our practice when you book your first appointment. If you wish to register in advance you can call us on 0121 749 4980 during our opening hours.
